WHO WE ARE

At South Bay Music Conservatory, students receive a world class music education with an emphasis on setting and achieving goals, public performance and confidence, and the development of the whole child through the vehicle of one-on-one music instruction.

 

We will explore classical and traditional repertoire all done through a foundation of technique and making a beautiful tone. We will research composers, use our voices to sing, and laugh a lot to disguise just how hard we’re working. Together, we will create a safe space for your child to excel.

 

Group classes, recitals, and studio outings are offered to further enhance a full spectrum training in music. Theory, ear training, and contemporary pedagogies and repertoire are offered to provide a truly 21st century music education.

OUR STUDIO

Opened in Fall of 2021, our Torrance studio is an oasis for learning music. Sometimes jokingly, students refer to it as the "Music Wonderland."

​

Our building has a large parking lot with easy access and is centrally located to all cities within the South Bay. The waiting room is equipped with a tea and coffee station (please help yourself!), chairs, and music magazines to read while you wait for your lesson to start. The South Bay Strings rental company headquarters is in the studio and allows teachers easy access to fit violins, replace strings, and try shoulder rests.

We love hosting so many families in our space every week and take great pride in curating a space that is inviting and can foster our creative explorations.​
